Mother and Daughter Straightening Journey

So aligner 9 today. I love new aligner day! I actually look forward to it! To see the progress is exciting each week, and then to feel how snug the new aligner is and knowing that it’s doing some heavy moving! I can’t lie my mouth is seriously achey tonight, right around my molars….but I know it will pass in a day or two and I will see the benefit!

My daughter also received aligner 9 today. Not as excited as me but then she takes it all in her stride! I am so very proud of her and so grateful to this treatment for giving her her smile back!

I hadn’t realised until I looked at some pictures how she had stopped showing her teeth when she smiled, she was very self-conscious of her gaps and I didn’t know it bothered her so much until I compared some before and after pictures.

These pictures were taken almost exactly a year apart during our annual performance in a local pantomime. The picture on the right was taken a few weeks ago whilst wearing her aligners, and the picture on the left last year. Every picture from last year has the same smile. This year , well I’m sure you can see the difference!

As a mum I am so so pleased that she feels confident enough now to smile naturally. all thanks to these magic little trays! #emosh
